A couple of years ago some friends had returned from a cruise  across the top of Australia and said how educational, scenic and enjoyable it was to see the remote parts of Australia and to learn about the indigenous culture, flora and fauna of the Kimberley's, Arnhem Land, Torres Strait islands and York Peninsula. After some research we found Coral Expeditions and booked a cruise from Broome to Darwin and Cairns. This was the last cruise of the season and the ship was returning to Cairns for the Wet Season.
